We’ve had this one in the pipeline for a while. The Polska funkateers are heading to the pool hall for an all night vinyl jam of polish jazz/funk obscurities, edits and original productions.
Since asking funkoff and zambon to come play, their latest release has not only sold out EVERYWHERE in a matter of days but is more than likely the feel good hit of the summer. Don’t worry, represses are on the way, but this is such hot property you have to preorder it.
‘Krystyna’ is quite possibly the best disco edit ever…..more info on the way. Watch this space for RA/Facebook links

Andy & Amy are coming down to Peckham with 2 bag’s full of D.I.S.C.O, cuban heels and 70s dance moves. (This doesn’t happen so often.)
Andy and Amy need little introduction, but just incase you don’t know – collectively they are the force behind some of the best parties and labels in South London: World Unknown, Dance Café, Dissident & In Plain Sight to name a few.
Due to some temporary licensing issues at the pool hall we’ll be moving the dance up the road to the PECKHAM PALAIS for this session.

| The supreme master Ruf Dug returns to Rhythm Section with his records, echo machine, dub siren and rotary mixer. This time he brings along fellow Mancunian protegé Glowing Palms.
A Ruf Kutz track gets played at every single Rhythm Section since I discovered them so it’s more than an honour to have these two guys down together. RK 7 by Mr. Palms was such a smash hit that juno only let you buy one at once. If you haven’t already got it, it’s too late: http://www.juno.co.uk/products/rk-7-1-per-customer/478343-01/ This is gonna be a heavy session, see you all down there early! get there before 12 to avoid a queue, or buy a (limited) advance ticket on RA: http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?470176 members £3 before 11 Hope you all enjoyed the new bar layout. No work on Monday, so what better excuse to stay up late and dance all night?
This time Rhythm Section presents 2 good friends from New York City: Christopher Ernst and Sean Phillips. They run an amazing label called Voodoo Down and have put out records with STL, October and Anton Zap as well as there own productions. We met at the tail end of last summer and had a ball.
Joining Max and Chris is Paul Reynolds: RS Regular, London Veteran and Deep Soul Konnection man. Paul digs deep, and has more records than you have mp3′s. A serious Selector.
Rounding things off is Tom Davies, a local Disc Jockey who is resident at a number of notable institutions around London, namely our buddies Wholemeal and Good Block. Expect the unexpected.
lastly but not leastly Rhythm section numero uno Bradley Zero will be overseeing proceedings and taking it comparatively ‘easy’ after last weeks solo marathon session.
Spring is on it’s way, the clocks are going forward and we are staying open that extra bit longer to welcome in the sunshine., even LATER if you take the extra hour into consideration.

It’s a strictly SE15 affair this week at the Pool Hall, with local badmen and hella good DJ’s Alex Egan and Theo Kozlowski.
Alex works at Phonica and produces sublime music under the pseudonym ‘The Draughtsman’. Check his music out here and be sure to listen to the remixes, by RS favourites: Daniel Avery and Roman Flügel.
Theo Kozlowski runs a great monthly night of live music over at the Bussey in Peckham, called Sprawl. Theo has been quietly collecting records for the past few years and blew us away with his selection back at the New Years Eve Special, so we just had to get him back.
